Harmony was designed in 2018 as a class Block of the Month quilt, it was inspired by the traditional Mandala technique. I had such a lot of fun and enjoyment coming up with a different design every month some simple and others more complex.
I was excited to release my pattern as BOM online program in 2022.
When you sign up for the program, you will get access to the full PDF pattern with full sized printable pattern sheets and video tutorials
The Nine Mandala block designs are created using my favourite appliqué technique.
Join in at any time to now have access to the full program.
Each of the Nine designs are created using my favourite appliqué technique using a semi soluble stabiliser, turned edges then machine stitched. Full instructions for this technique.
My version of the quilt is set on point with 13 full blocks, 8 half blocks (setting triangles)and 4 quarter blocks (corner triangles) with a foundation pieced flying geese sashing. This is the most labor intense version of the quilt, but I will be offering multiple options for quilt layouts and also simpler sashing options. That saying the blocks are very addictive and you always want to make more than one version of each design.
NOTE: This pattern can be adapted to suit your preferred method of appliqué.
(Instructions for other methods not included in this course.)
NOTE: The blocks designs are appliqué not EPP.
